Job Description:  Customer Service Rep.

Customer Service Rep’s will be expected to perform all duties prescribed hereafter in this job description.  All employees have reviewed this document prior to beginning service with the company.  Failure to perform any or all duties may result in restricted duty or possible termination.

 

o    Customer Service Rep. will assist with the daily operations of the convenience store to include the following areas.

o    Operation of POS equipment to include, register, lottery machine, fuel console, cc machine.

o    Support of customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

o    Physical upkeep of the facility and products. 

o    Stock and organize physical inventory.

o    Balance daily shift totals to include cash, CC, Lotto, and Fuel.

o    Support of food service personnel when ever possible, answering phones, taking orders, etc.

o    Customer Support Rep. will be expected to perform in the following manner.

o    All employees will maintain a courteous and friendly disposition while at work.

o    Employees will treat fellow employees and customers with respect.

o    Employees will maintain a clean and presentable appearance.

o    Employees will adhear to policies outlined in Grass Roots Handbook.

o    Employees will be accountable for daily sales totals and shortages.

o    Physical Requirements.

o    Customer Support Rep. must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

o    Customer Support Rep. must be able to endure extreme temperature change.

o    Customer Support Rep. may be exposed to cleaning materials or solvents.

o    Educational Requirements.

o    Customer Support Rep. must have a High School Diploma or GED.

o    Customer Support Rep. must be at least 18 years of age.

o    Strong verbal communication skills.

o    Mid level computer skills.

o    Must be able compute basic math equations.

o

Managers will be expected to perform all duties prescribed hereafter in this job description.  All employees have reviewed this document prior to beginning service with the company.  Failure to perform any or all duties may result in restricted duty or possible termination.

 

o    Manager will assist with the daily operations of the convenience store to include the following areas.

o    Employee job assignment.

o    Fill in for absent or a terminated employee to ensure a seamless schedule is achieved.

o    Physical upkeep of the facility and products.

o    Check and verify inventory levels and shrinkage.

o    Verify daily sales figures, balance employee shifts.

o    Maintain on call status to effectively handle emergencies and employee absentee issues.

o    Verify competing price strategies and react accordingly.

o    Managers will assist with HR related issues to include the following.

o    Effective management of six to twelve employees.

o    Disciplinary action of employees not performing daily tasks as specified.

o    New employee training.

o    Employee annual assessments.

o    Employee motivational tactics to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and productivity with in each store.

o    Physical Requirements.

o    Managers must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

o    Managers must be able to endure extreme temperature change.

o    Managers may be exposed to cleaning materials or solvents.

o    Educational Requirements.

o    Managers must have a High School Diploma or GED.

o    Managers must have at least two years management experience in the retail fields, specifically c-store environments.

o    Strong written and verbal communication skills.

o    Mid level to strong computer skills.

o    Must be able to achieve Certified Food Safety Manager accreditation.
